Art on the Avenue Festival *** October 3rd, 2009 ***
The 13th Annual Art on the Avenue Festival 10 AM to 6 PM on Mount Vernon Avenue (between Bellefonte & Hume Avenues). Multicultural arts festival celebrating the diversity of the Del Ray community through the arts. More than 200 artists and artisans of all kinds will discuss and sell their work. Plus 3 stages of music, children's art activities, including scarecrow making and pumpkin painting, and vendors offering ethnic food specialties.

Del Ray Artisans 5th Annual Spring Art Sale
The Outdoor Art Sale held Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Nicholas A. Colasanto Park at the intersection of Mount Vernon and Commonwealth Avenues. The park adjoins the Del Ray Artisans Gallery at 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia.
Featured will be over 20 artists, displaying original works in a variety of 2D and 3D media. The sale will afford art buyers a chance to purchase unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for Mother's Day. Visitors are also invited to view the current exhibit at the gallery, which showcases artwork from the art honor society students at T C Williams High School. The Spring Outdoor Art Sale is part of the Town of Potomac Centennial festivities, which includes a parade up Commonwealth Ave in the morning.
